k-12 Math & Science
sat & act Prep
Hannah attends school at Appalachian State University and plans to graduate in 2020. She’ll graduate with a degree in Business Administration: Computer Science and a minor in Chemistry. With a love for all things math and science, Hannah has tutored elementary school math and science up to college calculus and chemistry. As an Honors student, the president of App’s Student Art League, and a tutor, she has a busy schedule, but “if your job is something you love, it’s not work at all.”
MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH
Natasha graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education and currently teaches middle school math at Valle Crucis School. She takes time out of her busy schedule to tutor because she wants to be able to reach more students and make more of a difference. She says that being a tutor gives her the opportunity to make one-on-one connections with students, which is priceless. To her, it is all about that “light bulb” moment when students make connections.
